Ta’ Xbiex Promenade upgrade
Resources Minister George Pullicino was in Ta’ Xbiex yesterday to inaugurate Calleja Ltd’s forefront participation in upgrading the Ta’ Xbiex promenade. This will involve the site being subject to embellishment work which has started at the strand.
This project includes:
- the replacement of railings,
- paving,
- new lighting
- a new pavement alongside the seafront.
The pavement should link Ta’ Xbiex promenade with that of Msida. A new fountain will be installed, and there will be a bring-in site below street level. The works, which are estimated to cost some €750,000 should be concluded in summer.
