Hompesch Gate – Zabbar
Zabbar local council issued a tender for the supply of architectural light fittings to illuminate this historical gate at the entrance to Zabbar. The remit requested installation of specially designed high power, linear LED projectors equipped with AWW (Amber White White) LEDs. This configuration allowed the variation of colour temperature of the projected light from 2700K to 6000K via DMX control.
The project also included various ground recessed fittings together with a number of conventional projectors. The final result yielded an exciting blend of colour temperatures which highlight various architectural aspects of the monument.
